This necklace displays seven phases of the Moon : Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full, Waning Gibbous, Third Quarter and Waning Crescent. The New Moon is not pictured so that the Full Moon is the center of the necklace. The phases are presented in the chronological order in which they occur in the sky. The Moon orbits around Earth in about 28 days, which is where the word “month” comes from.

This necklace.comes with an info card (pictured above) describing the Moon Phases.

The images are set in high quality resin and are waterproof. The necklace is 18 inches long with an extra two inches of chain for adjustment.
