An adult human brain weighs, on average, 3 lbs (1.5 kg). Humans have the largest brain to body size ratio of any other mammal. This image of a human brain was taken using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which is used in radiology to look at internal structures of the body in great detail.

The image is set in high quality resin and measures 1 inch (2.5 cms) in height, with a 19 inch (48 cm) chain.
