Pluto Necklace

$18.00

In 2006, NASA launch the New Horizons space craft to go to Pluto and study the then planet. Later that year, Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet. This made no difference to scientist and we all waited for 9 years until New Horizons, and unmanned space craft, flew past Pluto and took breathtaking photographs and intricate measurements of the celestial body. Up until July 2015 when New Horizons flew past Pluto, we had no clear photographs of the object.

The image is set in high quality resin and is waterproof. The pendant is 3/4 of an inch in diameter on an 18 inch chain.

Each item is packaged in a Science Boutique gift bag.

All items are handmade, so no two are exactly alike.
